The stack.
Each active does one job. Together they do four at once.
Alpha GPC
60mgCholine precursor. Supports the focus underneath the wake.
Alpha-glyceryl-phosphorylcholine contributes to acetylcholine synthesis — the neurotransmitter the brain uses for focus and memory. 60mg is a stack-synergy dose; full standalone nootropic doses are 200-600mg.
Sourcing: Pharmaceutical-grade supplier (supplier name pending publication permission).
L-Tyrosine
60mgAmino acid. Dopamine precursor.
Best-studied for cognitive performance under physiological or psychological stress. Military research used it to mitigate working-memory decrements during cold exposure (Mahoney et al., 2007).
Sourcing: Pharmaceutical-grade supplier (supplier name pending publication permission).
Caffeine Anhydrous
50mgPure caffeine, no water content. The wake.
50mg is roughly equivalent to one strong espresso. Caffeine blocks adenosine receptors in the brain — the body's 'you're tired' signal. GRAS-rated by the FDA.
Sourcing: USP-grade caffeine anhydrous, sourced via our manufacturing partner's supplier network.
L-Theanine
30mgAmino acid found in green tea. The smoother.
Pairs with caffeine to reduce jitters without dulling focus. The caffeine + L-theanine combination is one of the best-studied 'smart caffeine' stacks (Owen et al., 2008).
Sourcing: Pharmaceutical-grade L-theanine. Supplier name pending publication permission.

The excipients, explained.
Most supplement brands list these and move on. If you Google any of them you find scary articles. So we'll explain each one up front.
Microcrystalline cellulose
Plant-derived filler. Provides the structural matrix of the pouch.
Food-grade. Used in countless pharmaceutical and supplement formulations.
Propylene glycol
Food-safe moisture-retaining agent.
GRAS-rated by the FDA. Common in supplements, frostings, vapes, and pharmaceuticals. The supplement use is unrelated to vape use — same molecule, different application.
Flavor (natural)
Per-flavor formulation.
Cool Mint uses peppermint oil and cooling agents. Each flavor's formulation lives on its product page.
Sodium chloride
Table salt. For taste.
Trace amount.
Sucralose
Non-caloric sweetener (the active in Splenda).
Used in trace amounts. We use sucralose because sugar would dissolve the pouch matrix and add unwanted calories. If you actively avoid artificial sweeteners, Zoot may not be for you.
Silicon dioxide
Anti-caking agent.
Food-grade. Keeps the powder mixture from clumping inside the pouch.
What's NOT in it.
Some category competitors claim "no artificial sweeteners" while using stevia or monk fruit blends. We won't claim that, because we use sucralose. Here's the honest list:
No nicotine — Zoot is not a nicotine product. Formulation contains zero nicotine.
No tobacco — manufacturing certified tobacco-free.
No added sugar — sucralose is non-caloric and not a sugar.
No animal-derived ingredients — vegan-compatible (verification pending manufacturer attestation).
Gluten-free — pending manufacturer attestation.
We DO use sucralose— an artificial sweetener. If you actively avoid sucralose, Zoot may not be for you. We won't pretend otherwise.
Third-party verified.
Every batch of Zoot Ultra is tested by AFL (A Tentamus Company), an independent accredited lab in Plano, Texas. Microbial panel, heavy metals, water activity, pH — full pharmaceutical-grade screening.
Microbial panel
- E. coli: Absent
- Salmonella: Absent
- Staph aureus: Absent
- Aerobic plate: 10 cfu/g
- Yeast / mold: <10 cfu/g
Heavy metals (USP standards)
- Lead: 0.030 ppm
- Arsenic: 0.044 ppm
- Mercury: 0.009 ppm
- Cadmium: <0.001 ppm
The COA covers microbial and heavy metals. Active ingredient dosages (50mg caffeine, 60mg Alpha GPC, etc.) come from the manufacturer's formulation specification. Targeted assays for caffeine HPLC and nicotine LCMS will be added as we run them.
Where the ingredients come from.
The full supply chain is being documented for publication. Specific supplier names will be added as publication permissions are confirmed.
