Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), and other state-level privacy laws, residents have specific rights regarding their personal information.
1. Your rights
- Right to know: request a copy of personal data we hold about you
- Right to delete: request deletion of personal data (with limited exceptions for legal compliance, fraud prevention, etc.)
- Right to correct: request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing: Zoot does not sell personal information in the traditional sense, but you can opt out of behavioral advertising targeting via this form
- Right to non-discrimination:we won't deny service or change prices because you exercised these rights
2. What data we collect
Detail at /privacy. In short: email address, order history, shipping address, payment method (tokenized via Shopify — we never see your card numbers), browsing data (via consented analytics cookies — see cookie policy).
3. Submit a request
Use the form below to submit a verifiable consumer request. We respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing — we'll email if more info is needed.
4. Authorized agent
If you're submitting a request on behalf of another person (parent, guardian, attorney), include written proof of authorization. Email privacy@zootpouches.com with details.
5. Appeal
If we deny your request, you can appeal by emailing privacy@zootpouches.com with the subject "Privacy Request Appeal." State law also gives you the right to contact your state Attorney General.
